Shipping & Returns
Where we ship
We deliver to the United Kingdom and the United States.
Delivery is free to both, on every order, with no minimum spend and no threshold to reach. There are no surcharges for the Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, or anywhere else in the UK.
If you're outside these two countries, email sales@ninjasharkoutlet.com before ordering and we'll tell you whether we can help.
How long it takes
Processing: 1 to 2 working days. Every order is checked before it goes out.
Transit: 3 to 5 working days, UK and US alike.
So a normal order lands within about a week. We'll email tracking as soon as the parcel leaves us.
Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays.
If something is going to take longer, we'll tell you rather than let you wonder.
Voltage and plugs
Electrical appliances are built to the standards of the market they're sold in, and a machine intended for one market won't work safely in another.
We only ship models specified for your delivery country. UK orders get UK-specification machines with UK plugs and the correct voltage rating. US orders get US-specification machines with US plugs.
We don't supply travel adaptors as a workaround for a voltage mismatch, because that isn't what an adaptor does. A 230V appliance on a 120V supply won't work properly, and a 120V appliance on a 230V supply is a fire risk.
If you're buying for use in a third country, tell us before you order and we'll tell you honestly whether it will work.
Lithium batteries
Cordless machines contain lithium batteries, and carriers restrict how these can be shipped, particularly by air.
We pack and declare them correctly and ship them on services that accept them. It also means you shouldn't post one back to us without checking with us first.
Never post a machine with a damaged or swollen battery. Contact us and we'll tell you how to handle it.
Deliveries to the United States
Import duty and taxes are payable on US orders. The United States suspended its $800 de minimis exemption in August 2025, so parcels no longer enter duty-free the way they once did.
Import duty, tariffs and any customs brokerage fee are charged to you by the carrier, usually before or on delivery. These are set by US authorities, not by us, and they aren't included in the price you pay at checkout. We can't tell you the amount in advance and we can't reduce it.
We won't undervalue a parcel or declare goods as a gift. That's customs fraud and it puts your order at risk of seizure.
Refusing a parcel to avoid a duty bill is an expensive way to change your mind — see refused deliveries below.
How it ships
Machines ship in their original manufacturer packaging inside an outer carton, so the box arrives in a condition worth opening and worth keeping.
Everything is sent tracked and insured for its full value. Larger and higher-value orders need a signature.
If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, either refuse it or sign for it as damaged, then photograph the packaging before you open it. Keep the packaging until any claim is settled — the carrier will usually want to see it.
Keep the box
Keep the original packaging for at least 30 days. If you decide to return the machine it has to go back in it, and a large appliance without its packaging can't be sent safely.
Cancelling an order
If it hasn't shipped, ring 0800 862 0452 and we'll usually stop it and refund you in full.
Once it's with the courier it has to be handled as a return. There's no administration or restocking fee on a lawful cancellation.
Returns
You have 30 days from delivery to tell us you want to return something, and a further 14 days to send it back. Full detail is in our refund policy.
The short version:
- Contact us first. We'll send return instructions.
- Change of mind: you pay return postage, tracked and insured.
- Faulty, damaged or wrong item: we pay.
- Everything comes back complete, clean, and in its original box with every accessory.
- Sealed consumables can't be returned once opened unless faulty.
- Refund within 14 days of us receiving and checking it.
- US returns: mark the customs declaration as returned British goods, and check battery restrictions with the carrier before posting.
Faulty goods and warranty
Ninja and Shark products carry a 2-year manufacturer guarantee. Other products carry the guarantee stated on their product page. We're an authorised retailer, so we handle claims for you — see our warranty and registration page.
You also have rights against us as the retailer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, not just against the manufacturer, and we'd rather deal with a problem here than send you elsewhere.
Fair wear and tear isn't a fault. Nor is damage from dropping, blockages caused by not cleaning the machine, limescale where it wasn't descaled as instructed, liquid ingress beyond the machine's rating, fitting non-genuine parts, or use contrary to the instructions.
Refused and undeliverable deliveries
If a parcel comes back to us because delivery was refused, nobody was available across repeated attempts, the address was wrong, or a duty charge went unpaid, we'll contact you to arrange redelivery.
Redelivery is chargeable at cost. Where a returned parcel has incurred a carrier fee, that fee is deducted from any refund.
This doesn't apply if you're exercising your legal right to cancel — in that case, tell us you're cancelling rather than refusing the parcel, and no charge arises.
